The scenic plot lies hidden between the fields of the Uckermark region in Brandenburg. A house, a workshop and various annex buildings are grouped around a lake, surrounded by tall trees in a valley. The ensemble is extensively renovated in order to be become a place of communal living and working in the countryside.

The main house and the workshop have new metal roofs, each with two dormers. These roofs create generous space on the inside, while expansive glass sliding doors and windows on both floors provide views of the surrounding natural environment: the lake and the forest. Wooden, built-in furniture provides spaces for retreat, sleep or individual work. The robust floor of colored cement tiles is highly durable, unlike most residential floor surfaces. The workshop, the annex buildings and the garden contain further designated spaces for productive use.
