Großer Garten is collective transformation of a former plant nursery in Brandenburg into a rural culture center with organic farming and short-term workspaces. The project has been initiated in 2016 by Lola Randl, Philipp Pfeiffer and Marie Randl. The ensemble has a restaurant, a bistro, a guest house, and a house with a combined artist’s residence and pop-up studio.
For the international festival Systemsturz Atelier Fanelsa designed a stage made from simple wooden boards that are stained with red pigment. The wooden elements are assembled with bolts to allow easy dismantling. The stage sits on the edge of the garden terrace, allowing the audience to watch performances in a setting reminiscent of an amphitheater.
